Therefore health can be described to be the state of being in complete physical, mental, and social well-being, considerably not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It also entails the presence of no impairment in oneself body enabling him or her to efficiently cope with all the demands of normal day-to-day life.

Physical health

This entails the body condition of an individual. This takes into consideration cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, body composition, flexibility, and muscular strength. This entails the absence of disease in the body: though not the absence of microorganisms in the body, since some microorganisms in the body would act as the normal body flora in the body. The absence of impairment on an individual’s body also contributes to the physical health of an individual. It can be affected by lifestyle, environment, human biology, and healthcare service.

Emotional health

This is an aspect of mental health.

It refers to how an individual can employ proper management of their thoughts and feelings. It entails how one can cope with a positive and negative sense of emotions to bring about self-awareness.

Intellectual health

This is also considered as an aspect of mental health that leads to intellectual wellness. Its concerned with matters around creativity in life and continued intellectual development.

Social health

This deals with the wellness of an individual as perceived from the angle of interpersonal relationships with those within one’s environment.

Spiritual health.

This entails wellness from practices that lead to a purposeful life.

It involves religious dimensions which is practiced on basis of faith and connecting oneself with a superior being in divine unity. It also includes an individual dimension which is observed by having moral character and decent beliefs.
